Sumix offers a range of factory certified refurbished interferometers, probe microscopes and their accessories based upon availability. All equipment is refurbished and calibrated up to factory specifications and includes a factory warranty.

Connector Testing and Qualification Services

Sumix provides fiber optic connector testing and qualification services upon customer’s requirements.

You may submit a batch of connectors to be tested at our laboratory in case you wish:

• to check and/or certify certain batch of connectors without purchasing measurement equipment;
• to get your connectors tested up to higher specifications and in more detail when improving a current product or launching a new product;
• to study and certify special or rare connectors that you don't have equipment for.

Sumix capabilities include:

• 3D interferometric measurement of end face geometry of all types of single fiber and multi-fiber ferrules and patch cords, including but not limited to: MT, MT16, MT32, MPO, MTRJ, LC, MU, FC, SC, ST, E2000™, SMA 905, SMA 906, Arinc, F3000, Kani MU, Optitap, football ferrule SC, bare ferrules, cleaved bare fiber and more;
• measurement of guide holes parallelism and angles, fiber holes angles and concentricity in bare MT ferrules; measurement of guide holes parallelism and angles in terminated MT ferrules and MPO patchcords;
• microscope inspection of all types of single fiber and multi-fiber optical connectors, patch cords and bulkhead.
